As a fine example of university-industry collaboration, the Multiple Stress Testing Laboratory, which successfully completed 5,000 hours of aging tests, was approved by TEİAŞ (Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation) and put into service at OSTİM Technical University on April 15, 2026. Designed by the OSTİM Technical University Technology Transfer Office and with equipment and software developed domestically by Korucu Makine Elektrik A.Ş., the laboratory will conduct tests within the scope of the IEC TR 62730 standard.
The laboratory, which will meet the critical testing needs of the energy sector with domestic resources, has become operational at OSTİM Technical University through a university-industry collaboration. The laboratory, where the first 5,000 hours of aging tests were successfully completed, was approved by the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ).
