On December 4, 2025, a Stakeholder Institutions Meeting organized by URAYSİM (National Rail Systems Test and Research Center) in Eskişehir was held with the participation of leading representatives of the sector. At the meeting, URAYSİM's founding purpose, current activities, and future roadmap were comprehensively evaluated.

The meeting, held at the URAYSİM Campus, was attended by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Dr. Çetin Ali Dönmez; the Deputy Minister of National Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Celile Eren Ökten; the Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Osman Boyraz; the President of TÜBİTAK, Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın; the General Manager of AYGM, Yalçın Eyigün; the President of OSTİM, Orhan Aydın; the General Manager of TCDD Technical, Mustafa Özdöner; the Rector of Eskişehir Technical University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Özcan; the Rector of Anadolu University, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel; the Rector of Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Prof. Dr. Kamil Çolak; the ARUS Coordinator, Dr. İlhami Pektaş; and numerous representatives from ARUS member companies.

The URAYSİM Stakeholder Institutions Meeting, held at the Eskişehir Alpu URAYSİM Test Center, began with opening speeches by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Dr. Çetin Ali DÖNMEZ, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Osman BOYRAZ, and the Rector of Anadolu University, Prof. Dr. Yusuf ADIGÜZEL. Following the opening speeches, Yunus UĞURLU, Acting Director of URAYSİM, spoke about the activities carried out by URAYSİM after its inclusion under Law No. 6550, and Tolgahan KAYA, Director of TÜBİTAK RUTE, presented RUTE's recommendations regarding URAYSİM Test Systems investments. Subsequently, the testing needs of sector representatives, an evaluation of the Alpu test center, and their views and suggestions were discussed.

The discussions also focused on supporting technological advancements in the sector, strengthening university-industry collaborations, and strategic planning for the development of testing infrastructure that meets international standards.

The meeting served as a productive platform highlighting the importance of inter-institutional cooperation to contribute to the development of the rail systems sector and enhance national technological capacity.

Note: As you know, URAYSİM was established in 2012 to meet the domestic test and analysis needs of the rail systems technology sector, and as of 2023, it gained public legal personality under Law No. 6550. To determine URAYSİM's test system investments in line with the needs and suggestions of both the public and private sectors, meetings were held with the sector, and the sector's views and suggestions were evaluated.
