The new Domestic Goods Regulation, which will come into effect on January 1, 2026, was introduced on December 24, 2025, in the conference hall of the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Directorate. We attended the information meeting, which was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. İlker Murat Ar, General Director of Industry at the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, and ministry experts.
The Director General of Industry, Prof. Dr. İlker Murat Ar, and ministry experts provided information about the updated Domestic Goods Circular, and the Domestic Goods Circular (SGM 2014/35) was explained in all its aspects.
It was emphasized that the Domestic Goods Circular goes beyond the classical incentive approach, aiming to create an industrial structure that supports the transformation of industry through public procurement, rather than one focused on assembly. Ministry officials gave a detailed presentation on the scope of the Domestic Goods Circular, the process of calculating the domestic content ratio, certification principles, and price advantages to be applied in public tenders. Participants' questions were answered.
