The Board of Directors Meeting of the National Rail Systems Test and Research Center (URAYSİM) was held at our Alpu Campus in Eskişehir. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Dr. Çetin Ali Dönmez.
During the URAYSİM Board of Directors meeting, which brought together representatives from the public and private sectors:
🔹 The ongoing efforts to make the buildings at the campus operational by the end of 2026 were reviewed.
🔹 The necessary steps to expedite the completion of the tender and installation processes were decided upon.
Following the meeting, the delegation conducted on-site inspections, examining:
🔸 The Vehicle Body Static Test System planned for installation,
🔸 The signaling training and software development areas,
🔸 The layout plans for technology workshops that will be made available for use by private-sector companies and our stakeholders.
We will continue our efforts with full determination to raise Türkiye’s testing, certification and verification capabilities in the field of rail systems to the highest possible level independently.
The service buildings at URAYSİM are planned to become operational by the end of the year. Office spaces and hangars will be made available to rail systems companies through space allocation and usage opportunities.
