Founded in Istanbul in 1993, 2M KABLO, a manufacturer of low-voltage cables, holds a pioneering position in the sector with its fully equipped production lines utilizing advanced technology, expert staff, and open-minded approach to development, prioritizing investment in its people and achieving many firsts. Since its inception, it has produced low-voltage cables under the 2MKAB® brand, later expanding to include audio and video cables under the LOOKAB® brand and fire-resistant cables under the FireKab® brand. These brands have become symbols of quality, reliability, success, and innovation in the sector. 2M KABLO exports 40% of its low-voltage cable production. Some of these countries include France, England, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal, Northern Ireland, Canada, Russia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Hungary, Serbia, Albania, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Sudan, Greece, Malta, Northern Cyprus, Pakistan, Egypt, Oman, Kuwait, Mexico, Vietnam, and Thailand.

Following its Export Achievement Award received from the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce in 2008 for its success in the export sector, 2M KABLO was awarded the IMMIB Export Honorary Award in 2011 and 2012 for its export drive and the resulting increase in Turkey's share of world trade.

OUR QUALITY CERTIFICATES AND LABORATORIES Our company has 5 laboratories covering a total area of 400 m²: Main Laboratory, Chemistry Laboratory, Fire Testing Laboratory, Process Laboratory, and High Voltage Test Cell. Equipped with modern testing equipment, 2M KABLO Laboratories can perform all tests during and after the production of low-voltage cables. In addition, we also have testing setups for tests not specifically required by the sector, such as UV resistance testing, hydrocarbon resistance testing, etc.

High-performance types of PVC material used in cable insulation and outer sheathing (low smoke density/flame retardant, highly flexible, oil-resistant, UV-resistant, anti-static, etc.) are developed and manufactured in-house. All our products are manufactured with materials that comply with RoHS and REACH standards. In terms of system certification, we hold ISO 9001:2008 certificates from two institutions (EAC and LPCB), ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 certificates. These certifications are continuously monitored through internal and external audits. For our general product groups, we hold Russian Fire Certificate and GOST-R certificates, and for fire-resistant cables, we have BS 6387 C, W, Z and EN 50200 PH120 certificates from LPCB, as well as TSE and TSEK approved certificates. We also hold Russian Fire certification, which has passed GOST and IEC 60332-3 CAT A / IEC 60331 tests for fire-resistant cables.

Furthermore, our halogen-free fire-resistant products; FireKab JE-H(St) H...Bd FE180 PH120 [EN 50200 PH120 and IEC 60331 FE180 (3 hours)]; FireKab LIHH FE180 PH90 and LIHCH FE 180 PH90 [EN 50200 PH90 and IEC 60331 FE180 (3 hours)] have successfully passed combustion tests and are certified by VDE. 2M KABLO is the first Turkish cable company, a low-voltage cable manufacturer, to be listed in the red book (see www.redbooklive.com) of companies approved by LPCB.
