Between 1979 and 1990, we operated as AK ÇELİK EŞYA İMALAT SANAYİİ in the Adapazarı Modern Industrial Zone, providing services in the field of steel goods and office supplies. From 1990 onwards, we also started producing spare parts for TÜVASAŞ's rail vehicles.

In 1996, we increased our spare parts production capacity as Akçelik Eşya İmalat Taahhüt Tic.San.Ltd.Şti. at Orhangazi Cad. No.40, Adapazarı. We also started providing services to TCDD subsidiaries TÜLOMSAŞ and TÜDEMSAŞ in 2000.

Starting in 2004 at the address Aşağı Kirazca Mahallesi Eskişehir Caddesi with 1000 square meters of indoor and 800 square meters of outdoor space, this process, which continued with the manufacturing of spare parts for passenger wagon and locomotive bodies, has enabled us to reach our current facility size with a total of 5000 square meters of indoor space and 17000 square meters of additional outdoor space through investments in sandblasting/painting/washing services.

To TÜLOMSAŞ (Turkish Locomotive and Engine Industry Inc.),

Maintenance/repair/new production and overhaul of DE24000 – DE22000 – E43000 – DH7000 – DH9500 type locomotive bodies, maintenance of cooling units for DE24000 locomotives.

To TÜVASAŞ (Turkish Wagon Industry Inc.),

Modernization, complete maintenance/repair of V1 – V2 – V3 passenger wagons.

We also provide services in the spare parts sector.

To TÜDEMSAŞ (Turkish Railway Machinery Industry Inc.),

We are producing new KS type Platform Freight Wagons, Balancing Wagons and Platform Type Tank Transport Wagons, and we have also carried out partial revisions on 2 and 4-axle wagons. In addition to this, we are producing spare parts for existing railway vehicles manufactured by TÜDEMSAŞ.

Akçelik's investments include a 10,720 square meter Wagon and Locomotive Maintenance/Repair/Modernization Facility in Pamukova district of Sakarya.

Our company aims to become a leader in the sector by meeting customer demands and ensuring customer satisfaction in flat products (steel sheet, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.), pipe profiles, cutting, bending, welding, pressing, and plasma cutting operations. We are accelerating our research and development and machinery investments to maintain quality, meet the needs of the domestic market, and also aim to export.
