EREN BALATA was established in 1990 in Kemalpaşa, İzmir, with the aim of producing friction materials. With a vision focused on "continuous development" since its inception, it moved to its current production facilities in 2005 and, with an additional investment completed in February 2016, aimed to significantly increase its production volume. With over a quarter century of experience in friction material production, EREN BALATA is a solution partner for major manufacturers in both the replacement/renewal market and the OE segment, both domestically and internationally. Furthermore, it has successfully completed the "Composite Brake Pad Production" project and has paved the way for the use of domestically produced brake pads in the railway sector by manufacturing railway/rail system brake pads. Today's vehicles are equipped with highly advanced braking systems. EREN BALATA operates with the awareness that brake pads are a "safety component" at every stage of production. In this sense, R&D activities and investments constitute one of the most important parts of our company. Equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, our R&D department has reached the capacity to perform all tests required by international brake standards and develop its own unique processes. Our laboratory, primarily equipped with a DYNAMOMETER, but also including an X-RAY Diffractometer (XRD), Thermo Gravimetric Analysis (TGA), Laser Particle Sizer, Laboratory Mixer and Press, has significantly advanced its process development and testing capabilities.
