Founded in 1980 as Yılmaz Kaucuk, our company has been manufacturing repair kits, caliper repair kits, and mechanical and electromechanical valves for heavy-duty air brake systems since 1995. In 1998, our company changed its name to MAY Brake Systems and now exports to 71 countries from its new 8000 m² factory in the Kayapa industrial zone of Bursa, employing 130 people in total, including 40 white-collar workers.

With the state-supported projects (BEBKA, KOSGEB, TÜBİTAK, SAN-TEZ, TEKNO YATIRIM) we have undertaken on electromechanical valves, we have submitted 23 industrial property rights applications and have become the 3rd largest producer in the world of electropneumatic valves used in braking systems, after the 2 largest known manufacturers in the braking sector.

Our company, which also received the award for the SME with the most R&D work in Bursa at the "Contributors to the Economy" Award Ceremony organized by BTSO in 2017, has significant prestige in the international arena thanks to its experience in producing electronically-based valves for heavy vehicles without problems for many years.

In the railway sector, we are continuing our localization projects for pneumatic valves and repair kits in the braking systems of metros and trams. Our production line has state-of-the-art machinery and capabilities in machining, mold making, rubber production and vulcanization, electronic manufacturing, assembly, and testing.

It holds ISO 9001, TS 16949 and AS 9100 certifications.
