Petes Makina was founded in 1963. Since its establishment, it has been a leading company in the Automotive Service Equipment sector. It has also specialized in the Rail Transportation industry, creating and developing customized projects.

It holds ISO/TS 16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS 18001 quality certificates. In line with its Corporate Quality Policy, it meets customer satisfaction at the highest standards. To this end, it has adopted the principle of continuous improvement. Due to the importance it places on TCDD (Turkish State Railways), it has fulfilled the requirements for the "ISO 15085 Railway Vehicles and Components Welding Process Management System" and obtained the necessary certification for welding processes in rail system manufacturing. Thanks to its flexible production and design capabilities, it can produce project-specific solutions for railway equipment.

The company conducts its design and production processes in its factory, which has a total of 26,000 m2 of open space and 9,000 m2 of closed space. It successfully completes turnkey projects with strong solution partners from Germany and America. Furthermore, it is a solution partner and subcontractor with Bechtel for the ground vehicle maintenance workshops at the Oman/Muscat Airport project.
