RAYTEST

The Project for Establishing a National Qualifications System and VOC-Test Center in the Railway Transportation Sector is part of the “Strengthening the Vocational Qualifications Authority and the National Qualifications System in Turkey Project (UYEP)”, VOC-Test Centers Grant Program, funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey and implemented by the Vocational Qualifications Authority. The project is carried out by the TCDD Development and TCDD Personnel Mutual Aid and Solidarity Foundation (TCDD Foundation), with the participation and contributions of TCDD.

RAYTEST Limited Company was established on March 2, 2012, within the scope of the "Establishment of a National Qualification System and Vocational Qualification Test Center in the Railway Transportation Sector Project," conducted by the TCDD Development and TCDD Personnel Solidarity and Mutual Aid Foundation. RAYTEST, whose founding partners are the TCDD Development and TCDD Personnel Solidarity and Mutual Aid Foundation (TCDD Foundation), the Rail Transportation Systems and Manufacturers Association (RAYDER), and the Railway Transportation Association (DTD), was established to provide certification, training, testing-laboratory, R&D, and consultancy services.

According to the Vocational Qualification, Examination and Certification Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 30.12.2008 and numbered 27096, the elements defining Vocational Qualifications are formulated and structured to meet the certification programs established according to the TS EN ISO / IEC 17024 standard. Consequently, the authorized certification body must be accredited by accreditation bodies that have signed multilateral recognition agreements within the European Accreditation Association, in accordance with the system established for the relevant qualifications that comply with the TS EN ISO / IEC 17024 standard.

One of the founding purposes of RAYTEST (Private Education, Certification, R&D, Consulting, Testing and Lab. Services Ltd. Co.) is to provide examination and certification services for national qualifications in railway transportation in our country, approved by the Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK) and included in the National Qualifications Framework, and RAYTEST works with a team of experts in this field for this purpose.
