Telefoncular Metal

Mustafa Çınar (1898-1961), a veteran of the Turkish War of Independence and recipient of the Independence Medal, returned to his birthplace, Obruk district of Konya province, after the war ended.

In 1927, he began working at the General Directorate of Post, Telegraph and Telephone (PTT) of the young Republic, responsible for the maintenance and repair of communication lines that also passed through his district.

Because Mustafa Bey was the only person responsible for telephones in his district and his name was constantly associated with telephones, his family nickname eventually became "Telefoncular" (Telephone Operators).

TELEFONCULAR, which began its journey in 1972 with retail steel sales and was then a sole proprietorship under the name Hulusi ÇINAR, changed its sector in 1977 and switched to mechanical sheet metal cutting and bending processes.

Branding and institutionalization steps were also taken in 1990. Currently, with its 15,000 m2 facility, 46 high-tech machines, expert staff, and 42 years of experience, it serves as a solution partner.
