VAKO VAGON A.Ş. was established in 2007 in Beypazarı district of Ankara, representing the culmination of over 50 years of industrial knowledge and experience. As the first private sector company to manufacture freight wagons outside of TCDD (Turkish State Railways), it obtained its production license in 2009 after a two-year struggle and commenced production. Our aim is to meet the wagon demands of the national and international railway world by producing in accordance with changing technologies and international standards, continuously using more advanced and high-technology methods. Manufacturing takes place in two factories located in Beypazarı and Temelli, covering a total area of 35,000 m² (10,000 m² closed and 25,000 m² open). All machinery and equipment forming the manufacturing infrastructure in our factories are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Customer satisfaction is guaranteed through the extensive work experience of our employees and their continuous training. Accordingly; Between 2012 and 2015, VAKO VAGON was, and continues to be, the preferred choice for 95% of the special freight wagon market in Turkey. In 2015, the Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI) infrastructure was fully completed, and VAKO, an expert in platform wagons, continues its journey at full speed, securing its place in the international market with its TSI certificate. Also in 2015, VAKO obtained the Entity Charge of Maintenance (ECM) certificate, demonstrating its superiority in maintenance and repair, and possesses standardization certificates in all processes, from workmanship to production.
