Railtur Vagon

RAILTUR Wagon Industry and Transportation Inc. was established in Kayseri in 2006 by the "Turgut Group of Companies" as Turkey's first and only private wagon manufacturing factory. Its purpose is to closely follow the constantly evolving technology in the strategically important railway sector and transportation, and to offer new designs, manufacturing freight wagons, spare parts, and bogies, as well as providing wagon maintenance and repair services. It began production at its factory in the Kayseri Free Zone. In its founding year, Railtur Wagon, Turkey's first and only private freight wagon factory, produced and exported Turkey's first Y25 type bogie compliant with the European Union TSI - Interoperability Specifications (2008-2010) and the first TSI-approved 95 m³ tank wagon to receive RID approval from the German Federal Railways Authority. These pioneering achievements, adding value to our country, have served as an example for other investors in Turkey wishing to operate in this sector. In addition to the freight wagon sector, “Railtur Vagon”, operating in production areas of 15,000 m2 / 60,000 m2, manufactures and exports complete welded frames for tram bogies, trailer and motor bogies, bogie frames for Electric Train Sets (EMU) vehicles, and various Y25 bogies, all in accordance with European standards and customer demands.

Completed projects and current products:

• Tank Wagons:

• “Zas-Type Tank Wagon (62 m3)” and “Za(e)s-Type Tank Wagon (70 m3)” conforming to UIC, RID and RIV requirements.

• “Zacns-Type Tank Wagon (95 m3)” with a design conforming to RID, TSI requirements and TEN-RIV traffic.

• Bogies are designed and approved as mutually operable components in accordance with TSI requirements. Conventional Y25Ls1-K, Y25Ls(s)(d)1-K type freight wagon bogies and various Y25 bogies equipped with compact brake -CFCB or IBB10- brake systems.

• Y25 [Lssi-K & Lssif-K] type freight wagon bogie with integrated braking system, where the brake cylinder and regulator are mounted on the bogie, used in situations where it is difficult to install the braking system on the wagon,

• Y25Lsd-KP1 Type Bogie (H-frame and equipped with a push brake system)

• Tramway bogies - Complete welded frames of trailer bogies and motor bogies

• New generation national electric train set (EMU) bogies suitable for speeds of 160 km/h,

• Rgns Type Platform Wagon with CFCB braking system and Y25 bogie, TSI approved and designed for TEN-RIV traffic.
